Last /e/OS/ update - I get phone call may not answer - switch off security pin works to take calls - help

Hi I have since the last update the problem, that if I get phone call I may not take this call. i see the prompt to get a call but I may not click onto it. It shows no reaction and rings with a tone till the caller is hanging up.

I also tried a different call app from f-droid store and set it as default but this app - called Amadz - do not work also as the deflaut caller app that installed onto the fairphone 4.

When I switch the pin security off of my phone I may take every call but the display shows everytime a get a message or something else the display.

Is there a solution?

I have aked the copilot from microsoft and dried 3 fixes and the fix 2 was the solution for my fairphone 4.

2. Fix 2 (lock‑screen delay set to 15 seconds) → problem disappears

This is a very strong indication:

• If the screen does not lock immediately,

• the incoming‑call screen can load correctly,

• and the lock screen no longer blocks touch input.

This means:

The bug only occurs when the lock screen is active at the moment the call comes in.

now I have the pin activated and get calls thru the sim card too. telegram and whatsapp calls worked all the time.

please declare the first message as finished! I don’t find a info about this issue.

Does the 3-bullet points also fit your experience, that it was not every call that was impossible to take, just the ones that occured in the time just right before your screen locked?
