I’ve been trying to find a G5 to install /e/ onto but I’ve noticed that many of the H850s that I’ve found for sale list the model number as RS988.
Is there a difference between the h850 and the rs988?
What is the difference between the code name and the model name?
Which models use the code name h850?
Has anyone installed /e/ on the rs988?

Please never install a custom rom.if it is not 100% for your device. You could brick your device forever !!!

LG manufactured the G5 for various markets, e.g. USA and Europe.
Externally identical, however, the “inner workings” are different, e.g. the modem.
If the customROM does not fit to the device, then see answer above.
