Limited Wifi speed on fairphone 4

I’m using a Fairphone 4, and I recently installed Murena 4.0 on it. When I was still using Android, I had significantly higher Wi-Fi speeds on my home network, which has a 600 Mbps internet connection. I was able to reach around 600 Mbps download and 300 Mbps upload.

  1. Now, my Fairphone 4 negotiates a Wi-Fi link speed of 433 Mbps in both directions with the router, but the actual throughput is only about 300 Mbps for both download and upload.

    Is there anything I can do to improve the Wi-Fi transfer speed?

Hi,

Is ‘Hide IP Address’ off as above?

If you have it ON (green) then it puts your traffic via tor which slows everything down.

Make sure it’s set to off.

Do you use VPN? You know it slows traffic down? But I guess you would have used it before…

Also e/OS 4.0 currently uses WPA2 not WPA3 but I am not sure if it can affect speed.
