Interesting! I’m also on e/OS v3.1.4 but on a Fairphone 5. So maybe that’s the difference then. Does the setting ‘installing apps from an unknown source’ has an effect maybe?
I did not change any settings as far as I remember. (I installed the app under an earlier version of e/OS though.)
Do you use App Lounge with an anonymous account like I do? Sometimes I have to restart the app or the device to get App Lounge working properly again.
ASN Bank app works without problems for me too. FP6 with /e/os v3.1.4. Installed in September and had been using daily without any issues.
What android version is indicated under settings and system updates for the both of you?

Hi, N26 is not on rhe french list, it was working fine (3.1.1) untill the last update on my Fairphone 3 with e/os (3.1.4). Will it be working again ? It’s important for me, thanks a lot if someone answers. Yves
Android 15 for my Fairphone 6
I could not get N26 working either on Fairphone 6 with latest e/OS. The photo ID verification kept failing. I think it may have something to do with failing device integrity (Play Integrity).
Not sure if that ever worked, by not using a Android OS with Google Play Services (or what its called)
Anyway as convinient as that bank is, not really privacy friendly compared to others.
Just migrated to 3.2 on FP5.
I was able to install Polish version of Volkswagen Financial Serwices app - so far all works well. Apps installed from AppLounge
Another apps were not possible to download from App Lounge but I did from Aurora (needed to fool it that I am not using FP5 but Samsung Ultra S25:
- Santander bank PL
- Citi Handlowy PL
All three apps were able to activate and show my financial details. Didn’t use them long so don’t know if any issues so far.
citibank app has problems with mobile token - notification comes but clicking on it makes nothing
The German comdirect photo tan app does not open anymore under 3.2 miatoll (possibly already before under 3.1). The table entry should probably be updated to not working

I have a problem with my banking app (KBC Brussels).
It told me I have not installed the apps on Google PlayStore and it’s not secure so it won’t start.
I had the problem 3 years ago (on FP3) ; but everything went fine again on my FP4, up to now.
I installed the app on AuroraStore.
Does someone else had the problem ? and how to solve it ?

I see a few people have reported problems with the Nationwide and Co-operative Bank UK banking apps. I can confirm that both apps (and the Smile app, also from the Co-operative Bank), work fine under the latest versions of LineageOS for microG and IodéOS. Maybe an issue with /e/’s fork of microG?
The situation with Revolut is less clear: under the mentioned ROMs it works fine on some devices, but not on others

Hi Manoj, Boursobank tested ok in France since last e/os release 3.2. No need to use Shelter workaround anymore! Thanks for the good work.

Likewise re Nationwide app.
I also just updated to 3.2 and still the same problem as before.
Mixcloud app also still has play function removed.
Both the Nationwide and Co-operative Bank apps work for me on /e/OS 3.2 (Fairphone 5/A15).
Metro Bank app works too.

Did you do a fresh install of the apps or did they just work properly after updating your OS?
Never had any issue with them before either so no, I didn’t do any reinstalls. I updated all apps via the App Lounge after the recent upgrade, but the banking apps usually nag to update if there is a new version anyway so they were probably already up to date.
If it makes a difference I’m using passcode method to login. I think there was option for some kind of biometric login, I didn’t want to use that so never tried it.
I’ve just tried and it’s still not working on my samsung S9 with e os 3.2 official. I got the message that “the app is not from the play store…”
And i can’t use shelter as it doesn’t work with screen lock method on my s9.
