Apologies for the bad bug report. I figured out the problem with the bank’s technical support, the login process for the AIB app needed to use a webview and it needed a chrome like browser to work. Installing vivaldi and setting it as default solved the problem.

I just installed v3.4-a15 on my Fairphone 6 and then run lots of update in App lounge.
I don’t know what or who exactly fixed the problem (/e/OS, microG, Boursorama) but BoursoBank (French bank) is now working !

Hi everybody,
The consors bank app (version 2.4.1) crashes since I updated my moto g42 (hawao) from e-3.3-a15-20251212556760-community-hawao to e-3.4-a15-20260116569565-community-hawao. The app starts and asks for the pin no. and after entering the pin the home-screen of the app shortly pops up and then the app crashes. Worked without problems with /e/OS version e-3.3-a15.
I could go back to /e/OS version e-3.3-a15, but I would prefer to stay on the latest version for security reasons.
Sur Fairphone 5 aussi !
One app (Switzerland) refuses to open on latest /e/OS 3.4. Push notifications still work and are displayed.
Yeah I can confirm that on FP6 community 3.4.

Boursobank app v7.59.3 works again. I had to redo the ID check but that’s it.

Sorry for my late reply. I don’t think the issue is a too heavily modified version of Android but rather the second point: have your enabled Parental Control by any chance?

What I read above confirms what I wanted to share: BoursoBank is now working on /e/OS! We are working on app compatibility more than ever and we were experiencing some fixes for BoursoBank but what seems to have done the trick this time is BoursoBank’s update from last week.
This is good news for people using both /e/OS and BoursoBank

Hi there! I’m using /e/OS since yesterday and have just received my FP6. Today, I installed the 3.4 update, and I’m a BoursoBank client. Unfortunately, it seems like the update hasn’t solved the app problems for me. I’m still receiving a message saying that it is not possible to verify my device. Am I doing something wrong? I have already deleted the app, restarted the phone and installed it again.
