[LIST] Banking Apps on /e/OS

Hi there,

Country: Slovakia

Bank: Tatra banka
App: Tatra banka
Status: everything works

Bank: CSOB
App: SmartBanking
Status: everything works

Bank: CSOB
App: CSOB SmartToken
Status: everything works

Comment: Fairphone 6 with /e/OS 3.3; installed from App Lounge

Could you share the exact message and at which step exactly you get it? In 3.3, the app was stating that it was not downloaded through play store, right after login attempt, it seems that you have a different issue.

Edit: maybe not related to /e/, if you filter comments by date on https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.boursorama.android.clients&hl=fr you’ll see that many people have issues

I cant open Wero in my FP6 in 3.4.

It worked with 3.3

Hi,

it’s right after the login: “Nous n’avons pas pu nous assurer de l’intĂ©gritĂ© de votre appareil. Merci de n’utiliser BoursoBank que
”.

I don’t have problems on my galaxy S25 (my old phone).

OK never had this
I had an update offered today for the app, still working
give it a try

Also, are all microg options activated?

I have this on rare occasions with my bank app. Switching “ hide my IP” usually solves it.

Just an update as well but since receiving /e/OS version 3.4 on my FairPhone 5 I have been unable to logon to 2 banking apps (American Express UK and Chase). Not sure if anything has recently changed to stop this

All options are activated. Played around with the options today. Still not able to login. All my other banking apps (VR Banking, Germany; CIC, France) are working fine.

Better opening a ticket if you can, then.

Bonjour Aude,

L’application BoursoBank ne fonctionne plus depuis aujourd’hui sur mon FP6 avec /e/OS natif
ça n’a durĂ© que quelques jours

Bruno

With an update from today the one app is working again.

Realized the same today, thank you for reaching out to me

Hello,

The app boursobank still working on my FP6 for tree days after the v3.4 update
.but it’s over
the app stop working with thĂ© same message as your’s.

Just a side comment. I live a couple hundred miles from the bank, but to use other services I would use web connection, not an app. What I found bizarre looking at my bank app privacy ratings in this country (UK) is only 4/10. The German app for the same bank has a privacy rating of 9/10. I would never use or install a banking app on the phone, as if it got lost or stolen I would suspect the banking app might suffer a brute force attack. I will only use Internet banking to setup another account and then revert back to telephone banking.

This should be updated - I have a working FairPhone 5 with eOS and the Triodos Banking app seems to work just fine, installed through the App Lounge

Hey @Kobus are you perhaps privileged by now?
I registered on the forum to correct the Triodos entry but ran into the same issue as you.
Install from the App Lounge works fine for me too!

Hey Jesse,

thanks for reminding, I got permission to edit the list, just done. Hope it helps people in the Netherlands to buy this great phone.

Oh hey, maybe I can help out. I’ve been paying on 5.94.0 just fine this week, but there may be different reasons for a violation message.

If it’s alright to troubleshoot here, what’s the full error that appears? Last time I encountered the issue, I left the dev options open and had to turn it off. I’m using a Nothing CMF Phone 1 and so far (2 months in) it isn’t having payment issues with only my bootloader being unlocked. I haven’t felt like updating from v3.2-a14 yet though.

The privacy rating may change each time the app receives an update. The app should then be scanned again with Exodus Privacy. If this has not been done for a long time, and many trackers/permissions have been added or removed, the rating may suddenly go up or down.

So, before installing an app, it’s best to check whether it’s a recent rating or not.

Thanks - turning off developer options actually did the trick. I was able to sign up, now awaiting verification. Will update my earlier post.

This might actually be great - because GCash supposedly allows cashless payments (QR code) everywhere AliPay is accepted, will update once I actually tried it
