All my bank apps work for me in the uk - notably on the list Chase is definitely working. Some I have to temporarily show my real IP, but most once logged in don’t have an issue.
Following german banking apps work fine on fairphone 6 /e/OS v4.0 that are not listed above:
- Trade Republic
- Scalable Capital (gives warning message that a modified OS is used, but does not impact functionality)
- apoBank
- ING
- Bison
Hi, any updates on bankingapps in India which are really working in India?
They do not seem to connect with me.
Or can anyone explain me.
I now downloaded PayTM and Bhims.
Kotak bank stooped working after update
George app (Erste Bank, Austria) seems to be working again.
I have an issue with EasyBank app from BNP Paribas Fortis (Belgium).
Since I have updated to /e/os 4.0 the app does not read anymore many QR codes to proceed to payment.
I have a google pixel 8 with 4.0-a15-official
I can confirm
that
- UBS & UBS key4 – Apps bei Google Play
- UBS Access: Sicheres Login – Apps bei Google Play
- viac app – Android-Apps auf Google Play
- revolut – Android-Apps auf Google Play
- biance – Android-Apps auf Google Play

are working via App Lounge (and lounge only google account) from Switzerland on e/OS v4
For the past three days, I have not been able to log in to my bank’s app (myBCN, switzerland). When opening the application, it closes instantly and the dialog box says “myBCN stops systematically”. I uninstalled the application, cleared the cache but the problem persists. I have a Fairphone 6 with /e/OS 4.0.
I updated the table to reflect fact that Swisscard app does not work. If anyone can make it work on /e/OS4, let us know
Hello, I can confirm Millennium bank for Poland working.
Using: Realme 8 with UNOFFICIAL /e/OS 3.3 ( [UNOFFICAL BUILD] Realme 8 [nashc] for /e/OS-T 2.x )
App downloaded with Aurora (App Lounge seems to be broken on this build).
I will try using this phone for some time and possibly transfer my main Pixel 8 to official build of /e/OS. I can then report again if it is working.
I’m having a trouble to understand that what causes the banking apps to fail.
I have two phones: Pixel 8 (shiba) as a main phone and Galaxy S9 (starlte) as a backup phone.
Both have /e/OS 4.0 (A15) official versions installed and bootloaders locked.
One of my banking apps works normally on Galaxy S9 but fails on Pixel 8 with a message: “your phone is modified / rooted”
Does any one have any idea why it works on a S9 but fails on a Pixel 8?
I’m not able to edit the list, but in Norway I am able to use Sparebanken Norge app with my Fairphone 6 with pre-installed /e/os v4.0, downloaded from App Lounge![]()

Even with same devices, it’s barely understandable. My banking app, Bourso, bas been working for nearly 6 months on my own FP5, while other users were still reporting issues…root causes may be some microg parameters, I was also thinking about maybe of how old the /e/ os installation was, keeping some old parameters through all updates…
I just confirmed that the Swiss St. Galler Kantonalbank app and their corresponding TWINT app do work well on FP6, /e/OS 3.7.3-a15. Their entry’s status in the list of banking apps is confirmed.
I had some initial troubles activating the TWINT app, fearing it’s an “unsupported OS” issue, but the problems had been cause by outages on their backend last weekend.
Bonjour,
Pour les français utilisant e/OS comme moi ( pixel 8 official shiba): l’app Monabank fonctionne tres bien et Monapay permet de supplanter “Curve” pour payer sans contact avec son mobile e/OS.
