Hello, thanks for the amazing work you do at /e/OS.

Are there any plans to add any e-ink phones such as Bigme Hibreak Pro, Hisense A9 (or the upcoming A10), Mudita Kompakt? These phones (plus InkOs launcher) could be useful for those looking to reduce eye strain along with the privacy angle.

Hi.

I guess that you are telling me that the source code is needed so that the /e/OS can support a device (and probably you will want to see licenses or drivers, no?).

Sorry, I’m not pretty knowledgeable about the development side on a phone and all what it entails to support one. I’m just learning about de-googling my phone and that kind of thing.

Anyways, here is what I found:

1. For Mudita, it seems they released their source code: GitHub - mudita/MuditaOS-K-Kernel-opensource · GitHub .
2. For Bigme, I could not find any source code, but I just found a discussion about unofficial /e/e OS ROM (is that the proper way to call this: ROM, image, GSI?), here: https://community.e.foundation/t/e-os-u-gsi-a14-unofficial/67048/71?page=4.
3. About Hisense, I could not find any source, either. Here is a github stating how to modify a Hisense A9, which is the device I was interested about: GitHub - aimindseye/hisense-a9 · GitHub .
