I use one plus x. The need to click on tick mark button after entering your PIN feels cumbersome and boring. If the entered PIN is correct the device should unlock automatically without the need to hit the enter button. Kindly review and enable the feature.

I really can’t call this as defect. It is just a feature request that I desire. Should I really log this as defect?
You are right it is a feature request. We only have the option to raise an issue in Gitlab. Once it is in the system the /e/ team can tag it as a feature request.
