Low cost mobile available in Brazil for /e/

Hey guys,

I am struggling a lot to identify low cost mobiles available in Brazil that can run /e/.
The model identification is not always the same as in other countries and I am never sure if a given model will be able to run /e/.

Does anyone have suggestions?

@LeonardoBarichello

I’m also from Brazil and I run /e/ on an old Moto G 2014 (titan), Android 7.1.2.

As far as I can tell, all Samsung and Motorola devices listed in https://doc.e.foundation/devices/ you can find in Brazil with the same specs and will be able to run /e/ .

Thanks for the answer, Fabio!

So, I guess I am the one not being able to identify if a given device is in that list…
For instance, is Motorola Moto E6 Play XT2029 supported by the Condor build?

I’ve found this: https://doc.e.foundation/devices/condor/
But I’m not sure if this applies to your situation. I couldn’t find this Moto E6 Play XT2029 anywhere on the forum.
Perhaps you should ask for the device here: https://community.e.foundation/c/e-devices/request-a-device

That is my issue: the info available on online stores usually do not match the descriptions on /e/ device list, specially for low cost mobiles.

I saw you use a Moto G. Which model is it?

Moto G 2 (2014 - titan).

Hello.
Perhaps have a look on XDA to see devices’ ‘code’ from their name, ex. ‘surnia’ for Moto E 2015 (XT1524)…

Usually, a ROM for one device don’t match for other ones.

Hi, The search on the https://doc.e.foundation/devices/ page will only return devices already in the supported list. If a specific device does not show up then it is not supported and you can request for support.

Just to leave it registered here, I am running /e/ on a Moto G4 Play, which is a very common low cost device in Brazil.
