Hi Marvelous, I don’t mean to be harsh or disrespectful to you when I say this but the devil is in the detail.

The €300 declared discount includes the €99 deposit one pays. How is money I pay a part of the discount? The real stated saving on the recommended retail price for the phone is €201.

The stated saving by paying a deposit of €99 last September 2025 was . . €200.

This new article, to me screams American chancers advertising at it’s P.T. Barnum finest. The new factual discount is a further one euro. For those still in the game.

Question about Murena /e/OS and Hiroh phone from the UK side of things.

Will Murena /e/OS or Hiroh phone cowtow to the UK Age Verification Laws like what apple ios just did in its latest update (26.4) which pushes age verification and what apple did back in 2024/2025 with its disabling of icloud encryption to uk users. It would suck to continue supporting since bought the presale for the hiroh phone if you lot plan to start as well.

The UKs falling into a absolute hell hole of a country and privacy and security is quite frankly paramount right now.

Hi MaxiBoi1357,

Manoj posted a resonse to this query which half answers your question. He speaks to the software side of it at least.

I suspect from a Government organisational view point Apple is an easy way to issue such a dictate with their devices being under Apple’s control for both hardware and software.

While control over Android devices is more fragmented for both hardware & software.

And there is the misinformation. Sheridan is in Wyoming, not Austin Texas.

Hey all,

I looked on the Hiroh site and the Murena site, but I am unable to find if the phones USB-C will support Desktop Mode, when that comes, I saw for instance FP6 does not, so as I explore a plan for this wondering if anyone has a link to the spec sheet on that feature or not?

thanks!

Probably all the people who got the device can tell you, since it was shipped in February 2026 /s

It got pushed back to June sadly because of the ram etc bs

I think Hiroh is a total scam, and it’s concerning to see Murena entering a deal with such a shady company.

We don’t know much about Hiroh apart from the name of the company, the address, a phone number, and the names of two people involved. Let’s start from the address.

As someone mentioned earlier, from the contact page of their website we know they are based in Wyoming. The address is 1309 Coffeen Avenue Suite 1200 Sheridan, WY 82801.

A quick look into Google Maps and we can see that this location is probably just an empty warehouse where plenty of companies are registered.

We can quickly find Hiroh LLC in Wyoming’s business register: the company has been registered in March 2025 by a lawyer specialized in quickly opening companies in some US states.

What about the founders? If we search for Victor Cocchia on Youtube we find a video where he promotes his conservative think tank, the “Liberty and Freedom Foundation”. Sadly, the website of this organization is no longer available, but they are on Facebook if you want to laugh a bit.

In the same video, he speaks in favor of Sarah Palin. I wouldn’t give money to a conservative, but that’s my opinion.

So what else did mr Cocchia do? A quick Google search and we can see that he previously founded a start-up making iPhone cases, called Vysk. The company is apparently facing lawsuits and has gone stealth. AP reports “more than $1.9 million in unpaid payroll taxes”, “more than $3,000 in unpaid unemployment taxes”, lawsuits filed for “more than $1 million that was allegedly due under a lease and related agreements”. Court documents are freely available online. A newspaper reports that in 2017 some shady billionaires gave Vysk money.

So now this guy is back, he created a company in Wyoming that exists only in papers and in a website, and he wants 300€ to preorder a phone that was supposed to come out three months ago. And Murena is partnering with them.

To all the people who preordered this, best of luck to get your money back!
