A few days ago I have installed /e/ on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 SM-T500, codename gta4lwifi.
Since this is a wifi-only model, I was a little surprised that there is a messages-app provided on it.
At least, it doesn’t seem to sync messages from my phone or should it?
(both devices are logged into the same Murena-account)
it shouldn’t - it’s really only for SMS. There are apps to sync SMS, but not sure if that is worth it without the ability to write back.
So it would be better to not include the phone and message app in the image for this device.
Is there a way to inform the ROM-maintainer?
