Hi, i made a simple magick module that right now uses parts of PhhIms and some ducttape to be able to call using VoLTE on LineageOS. I’ve already written about it in theur forum but i was wondering if it would also work on /e/os, if anyone is willing to try. The only downsides to this fix is that you cant switch your speaker/reciever mid call, but i think plugging in headphones forces it to go there.
Proven that it works on S20 Ultra 5G (z3s) running the latest LineageOS Stable build (i think 23.2).

I cant assure you that it will work, especially on a different os, but it should. You will have to have some sort of module installer, KernelSU, Magick.
I’m not 100% certain the build.sh actually works, ive only tested it once on my own phone.

I tried the fix on a Galaxy S8 dreamlte (also exynos) with a rooted /e/os unoffical build (Android16) and it works for me. I have also tried it with a rooted official version of /e/os for S8 dreamlte, which is based on A12. And it also works.
hi! thank you so much for your feedback, it makes me very happy that my work has helped people around the world. im very glad that it works, though i have kind of stopped working on this project, as its reached the limit of my skills. the only problem im finding is its a bit janky, sometimes you will have to try calling someone multiple times before you start hearing it ring, and of course, youre stuck in speakermode, but otherwise it works. even though ive stopped i would still lvoe your feedback incase theres something i can help with or patch.
