Miracast does not work on Fairphone 6 with A15

Bringing the discussion from Miracast does work on Fairphone 5 with A15 to the next level :wink:

Last week I got my brand new Fairphone 6, which I flashed by myself to official /e/OS 3.7.1, successfully. Then I noticed that casting to anything (i.e. Smart TV) does not work at all, as the option to turn it on (under Settings → Connected devices → Connection preferences → Cast) is something missing :frowning: It’s the three vertical dots menu with the checkbox to Enable wireless display that is missing (see the screenshot below)!

Could that possibly be an issue with A15?

you could post your issue to a recent version-feedback thread and catch other FP6 users that will check what it’s like for them.

Most likely someone of them needs to file a FP6 version of this issue to the backlog items: FP3 enable miracast / wifi display (#6665) · Issues · e / Backlog · GitLab - one can use the forum email to register with the gitlab instance
