I’ve been using Mull (firefox fork from divest hosted in the app lounge) browser on /e/ 2.x for months. Recently, /e/ was updated into 2.3 and mull received an update on the 16th and 26th of August, and for the last few weeks, mull has been crashing whenever I press the search bar or tab manager. There are no listed blocks, and so I assume it’s a browser issue, but wanted to see if anyone had similar experience or knew what to do about it.
I just cleared the cache from system settings apps and also deleted browsing items within the app, and it still crashes. I installed Fenec F-droid and it works fine. It may be specific to mull.
I have been using Mull for a long time but had no issues on 2.3. Upgraded to 2.4 last night and now Mull just crashes straight away when I try to open it. Have tried force stop, clear cache and then reboot but no joy
I spoke with the dev on reddit but we didn’t come up with anything solid. He just asked if I’d made config changes and recommended that I try the latest version. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling and that has it working now. I could not figure out a way to get the install I had working.
