Multiple User Accounts On Phone. Security / Privacy Benefits?

I have set up a secondary user on my phone for apps I use frequently but, not daily. I use the secondary account for these and occasional browsing when I need to. I decided to do this after I returned from a journey abroad where I had found it necessary to do more browsing than normal on my phone because it was the only device that I had with me. Advanced Privacy reported that it had been unable to block some trackers. This concerned me so, I reset my phone.

I hoped that, if this happened again in the future, I could just delete the secondary user and set that up again rather than resetting the phone.

I hoped that this would give me extra privacy from trackers. On Linux, secondary user accounts have fewer permissions and I use them to protect the main sudo account but, I am not sure if this applies with e/os.

So, I was wondering if using a secondary user on my phone was actually worth doing or not? I would be interested to know your thoughts on this?
