I tried to see of I could migrate my iOs notes to the Murena cloud only for it to turn out that that function seems to have become entirely unavailable (rendering the murena cloud services entirely useless). I then tried with my Soverin account, which is working brilliantly with apple Notes, but there doesn’t seem to be a single application on Android that can sync notes in the same way. This seems hard to believe. Like, if I can bypass iCloud on a Mac, there must be a way to sync this up to the FP5 as well. Did I miss something? Is there a super obvious answer application wise? Because as it stands now, the notes application actively breaks the moment you try to use it with the default cloud platform, and I would really like to use my perfectly functioning already paid for alternative.
there’s ImapNotes3 (in AppLounge/F-Droid too) that does “Notes-on-IMAP”, not as polished… not sure if it can read the iOS Notes format there.
Obsidian is a great notes app that is file based - I can’t find a generic imap syncer for Android though (that is non-commandline), then you could hook up that folder - in my eyes the ideal thing: separating notetaking and syncing. Webdav sync is built-in in /e/OS or can be had via the nextcloud client or FolderSync.
btw, Soverin does caldav… then you could home your contacts/calendar with them too?
