Murena Cloud on my laptop does not synchronise with mu Fairphone 4

Murena Cloud on my laptop does not synchronise properly with my Fairphone 4.

It appears that every time a change is made, a copy is made of the original directory or file.

This results in a lot of duplicate files on my phone.

Is there a solution?

I have Client Synchronization enabled for long time already, but the files are still not synchronizing.

I am sharing the details with the developers, Pl create an issue on gitlab as it would help the developers interact with you and get logs if required.

Pl can you explain the issue in details. What is it that you are trying to do. That would help me explain the issue better to the developers.

It took me some time. I deleted all files from the directory “Fairphone 4 > Documents” and from “https://murena.io/apps/files/files/##########?dir=/Documents”. There were no files left either on my phone or in the cloud.

I then placed five files in ‘Fairphone 4 > Documents’.

After a while, these five files were also available in the cloud ‘https://murena.io/apps/files/files/##########?dir=/Documents’.

I then deleted one of those five files from the cloud.

However, after 7 days, there are still 5 files on my phone.

Conclusion: the synchronisation is not working properly.

I have no idea what else I can do, other than NOT save any files :frowning:

Passing on the details to the developers. Will update their response.

The developers responded that the deletion part is not synced from cloud to device or vice versa.

Dear @Manoj this is not a sync.

Please integrate a full sync. I uploaded pictures to the cloud and these are not synced to the phone.

Are you saying that even photos or documents in the phone are not showing up on the cloud or from cloud to the device.
