@aibd Need to know more so I looked up Mediatek. It is a chipset apparently and the comparison is bring made with Qualcom Snapdragon.
This took me to Gigaset g6. Apparently this is a new phone that is under the Murena umbrella?
Are you familiar with it at all?

OK I see what I did. I posted my issue under the “after 4.0 upgrade issue.”. I should have made a link to a different subject for my issue which occurred when I had v3.7.1 I think and continued AFTER upgrade V.4.0. The answers you have researched will help those with a Samsung hopefully. Thank you again @aibd. I need to get better at posting.
