My new fairphone blocked in bootloop

I just receive my FP5 but after charging it, I tried to turn it on but it is blocked in bootloop…
I tried recovery mode, wipe the data, wait an entire night with the battery out of the phone but nothing. Not much helped from the support for now…
Any idea ?

Just to make sure … You bought it from Murena, and contacted Murena support?

I bought it from Fairphone and contacted the support there but there is 15 worked days to wait… Not sure that Murena support will accept to answer, I’ll try !

Ah yes, Fairphone support can be an exercise in patience in unfortunate cases, I guess. You could try to chat with them within their hours to speed things up, if you can make it happen (not everybody is free to privately just chat away during these hours).

Can’t hurt to ask Murena, too, but you bought a new phone from Fairphone, which should surely work out of the box.
Even if there are things which could perhaps be tried to get it to work, you have no obligation to do this, Fairphone have an obligation to get a working phone to you first and foremost.

If you are feeling adventurous, though, and want to try yourself and are not afraid of the command line, just let us know.

Thanks for your reply, I’m not afraid of the command line I’m a Software Engineer (not in the OS programming though). I already tried to flash the fairphone OS (as the only response I add was that fairphone is experiencing issues with e/OS/ right now) but I couldn’t find a way to unlock the bootloader…
So if you have some ideas/tips I’m interested !

Here’s something to try … https://xdaforums.com/t/fairphone-5-unbrick-android-14-bootloader-only.4711932/

Thanks ! :slightly_smiling_face: Yes tried this one but on :
fastboot oem allow-flashing
I have :
FAILED (remote: 'Command not supported in default implementation')
As I can’t access any settings (debug developer for instance) the command seems unable to unlock the bootloader…

Too bad.
It is written in the linked reference that it doesn’t work with every bootloader.

…change slot A/B?

When I installed /e/OS I fall in an error like your.
But, I did this install 3 years ago, maybe mine is stupid idea.
