Navigation bar at the bottom doesn't look right

See the print screen, it looks wrong and also the swipe up bar is way to close to the apps.

Others with the same problem on FP6? Anyone a solution?

It looks like you have Gestures, the alternative in Settings > System > Navigation to Navigation bar.

I don’t have that setting or at least not at that place. But do you mean the 3 button navigation?

I do not know if this is your case, Gesture vs 3 Button navigation are Alternatives.

Please use the Settings > Search facility to check out Navigation if I am unclear.

This is on my side.
the swipe bar is not the same as in your case, but the transparent cut is tho. (could be feature idk)

FP6, 3.0.2 official.

I do have fixed the weird slide bar by changing a setting. But still have, just like you, the weird cutout in the wallpaper.

I have the same issue with my FP6. The bottom bar seems to use the same source image but a different scale and/or position for the wallpaper.

It’s an image that is larger than the screen size, so it scrolls when swiping to different sides.

When swiping to the sides, it moves at a different speed than the main wallpaper image. Swiping to the widget page, the lower wallpaper moves out of the frame together with the dock.

Is this intentional or is it meant to be transparent? I would expect the wallpaper to fill the entire background, it should also be large enough to do so.

Intentional is to have a “blur effect” in the Dock space, I guess to “quietly” identify the Dock as different. The images here Feedback for v3.1.4 - #216 by Pieter_Post seem to illustrate a significant downside of the blur / adjustment for some photo images.

A photo cropped to screen size might appear differently in the blur ??

Ah, they removed the blur but the dock cropping seems to be intentional then. I will try an image that matches the screen resolution next.

Another issue is that the positioning and scaling during the wallpaper settings menu does not get applied to lock screen or background. When I zoom it out and place it into the center, the app icons background remains zoomed in and the lock screen is off to the right instead centered.

When I try to reproduce your method, first I am invited to “Tap to adjust” the photo. Edit Tap to adjust not seen every time. If the gallery app used is not competent to do this auto magically, seems it would need to be done manually. For a successful result I would expect to have to offer a photo in the correct resolution.

However if fp6 is performing in an unreliable way perhaps there is a case to Report an issue.

Looks fine for me on FP6

Edit: I use the blue wallpaper from here:

It does indeed look like intended. It seems if the wallpaper fits the screen, it works, but if you use a wider wallpaper that scrolls with the different pages then something seems to break it.

I will properly report an issue then, as @aibd suggested.
