New Fairphone Gen 6. Unable connect to Wifi or Mobile Data

Hi All,

I purchased a Fairphone Gen 6 with e/os and have been struggling for two weeks to even get started.

Technology is not my strong point.

First hurdle is totally new handset. Then secondly the operating system. I have inserted my sim and my mobile data nor Wifi works even though they both show they are connected. I have been on the phone twice to the Sim provider whom tell me it’s the handset and Fairphone community told me to contact you. I have no apps on phone yet, but can not get online on the built in Murena search page. Fairphone community suggest I post here as it maybe a blocker. At wits end, so any help would be amazing!

There is [LIST] Carriers that work or do not work with /e/OS country-wise … please check there first … and / or can you share the carrier you use ?

Thank you so much for your response. I have managed to connect. In fact it was that Murena search engine is not working and I had not downloaded any apps to try yet.
