I have the same issue on my Faiphone 3 (/e/OS 3.0.1 official FP3).
I had read in the issue linked (sent by Manoj), kernel’s name with lineageos is mostly concerned and some properties.
This is so frustrating : I have the same issue on a FP3 & a FP5 both on eos 3.0.1.
The Revolut App was working up until 2 weeks ago on my FP3, stopped working on the FP5 at the start of the year. It doesn’t work either on another phone on Lineage OS : Revolut advise me to purchase another regular android device and now I have no access to my funds.
Here’s the answer from Revolut on Trustpilot : Revolut reviewed by Joe on 6/25/2025
“Hello.
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience with the app.
Kindly note that at the moment, we only support devices with ARM processor. Our application might work on phones running MicroG, GrapheneOS or other operating systems however, we do not officially support it or conduct any compatibility tests. This means the application may have limited functionality or might not be usable at all. We have no plans to support those systems in the foreseeable future.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to email us at help@revolut .com with a brief explanation of the issue you’re experiencing. We appreciate your cooperation.”
I am in the process of closing my account which I would encourage everyone to do and find an alternative. I use many other banking & investing apps without any issues.
I would also advise people to express their discontent on Trustpilot & other app stores if possible : https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.revolut.com
Same problem for me, it stopped working on a official Murena phone unmodified.
Some recent update here:
revolut fix (for devices with locked bootloader only - revolut requires a locked bootloader to work)
Is there way to sign the boot loader in some way?
Or to ensure it meet requirement. I don’t know how it works actually.
Regards,
Just done… I left my email, let’s see if they contact me…
UPDATE:
This is their reply:
(…) We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience with us and with our support.
We really appreciate your feedback, as we’re always working on improving our app and our services.
However, please don’t hesitate to email us at help@revolut.com, so we can take a closer look into this. (…)
Simply pathetic… if they had interest in making their app working on our smartphones they would have already found a solution…
