I bought a Galaxy Note 4 with e/OS installed

but I cannot get the phone function to work

I am in Germany using the O2 network

does your carrier still use 2G/3G network ?
voLTE won’t work

Please can you define the build like this [HOWTO] Give complete /e/OS version info easily for support, answers, comparison etc

The phone came with e/OS 1.21-r-20240503-UNOFFICIAL-trlte

This is a rather old Android 11 (R) build. This is a forum Search :magnifying_glass_tilted_left:

volte (check the hashtag to check other threads) is not supported by most Custom ROM builds. Back in the day the phone worked fine with 2G and 3G but if like many carriers yours completely dropped these then calls won’t work where VoLTE is the only option.
