No "Software Update" menu in S9 (SM-G960F)

My /e/os is stuck on version 1.17-r-20231109350749-stable-starlte
So I downloaded the installer for my Win11 PC and my phone got detected. One screen asks me to disable “automatic system updates” in Developer Mode and “auto download over wifi” in Software Updates.

I can disable the “automatic system updates” but I have no Software Updates menu. I have System Updates. But there is no option in there to disable “auto download over wifi” or to “download and install” which would be the last instruction on the screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the so wrongly named “easy-installer” will wipe all personnal data on your device, better is to upgrade in my opinion…

I have updated my post to include the full version of my /e/os as required in your link.

Can you elaborate a bit on how to upgrade? The only other ways I could find are to create an own build, for which I would need to install linux (and this would probably only the first challenge).

ok, no problem for upgrading from R to S, T, U, (from Q is problematic)

take latest file /e/OS official starlte download to adapt this instructions :
