Hello! I was going to install the r8q image for my Samsung S20 FE 5G, however I couldn’t follow the rest of the instructions because the zip file provided doesn’t have vbmeta.img! Is there anything I can do to get that image file?

From the number of times 
vbmeta + Doc suggestions crop up maybe some more general support topic or information is appropriate.

I see 3 possible solutions to your issue
the documentation is false, the file is not neededthe file is here, but deeply stored- the file is missing, but you can use a file from elsewhere

please test running the installation without vbmeta (like it works for samsung a52s)
if you see error when flashing recovery,
so, use the file from LineageOS
what OSes can you run on your Computers ?

By the way, I’m currently dual booting Windows 10 and NixOS on my computer.
you need Odin3 windows
you can use Heimdall
