OTA for OnePlus Nord (avicii) community to A14

I’m currently using 3.0.4-t-20250710507811-community-avicii and I was wondering why there were no update.

I’ve noticed that A14 builds are available on /e/OS community avicii download but the OTA is not clearly announced anywhere. Is there any clue I missed to see if there is an existing OTA, or something planned?

Otherwise, I must go through a full reinstallation to A14, with backup and restore?

You need to move from community builds to official ones to keep getting OTA updates. The A12 to A14 OTA is still in testing.

You can use the “locale update” feature of the updater to upgrade

And if I understand correctly, changing from community to official implies a full backup + restore for data, right?

Ah, yes I forgot about this. But how about data? Are they wiped by this when going from A13 to A14?

Note in particular that A12 community builds are losing support but that official builds are not.

If anythings go well, no dataloss if you don’t format /data partition (don’t apply factory-reset)

Any recommendations as to how to do a backup? Back in my Lineage OS using days I did it with TWRP but the /e/ OS recovery doesn’t seem to have backup functions.
