OTA update setting: with or without recovery update?

which is the right OTA update setting: with or without recovery update?

I have two /e/OS devices, one has recovery update setting ON, the other setting is OFF.
Which is preferred setting?

if you want to keep TWRP or OrangeFox, you have to set it OFF

recovery manager will be overwrited by /e/ before any system update

ok, but I have seen that it’s not possible to deactivate recovery updates at Edge 30.
Is here any reason for this?
