my son’s phone was stolen. Unfortunately, we didn’t note down the IMEI number when installing /e/ OS. Is there any way to retrieve the IMEI number from his Murena cloud/profile?

Regain your privacy! Adopt /e/OS the deGoogled mobile OS and online services
your network operator knows the imei used for an imsi - as last resort.
If you still have the receipt/bill or a package/box the phone came in, these might bear the IMEI (e.g. on a sticker/label), too.

Many thanks - unfortunately we don’t have the box (refurbished phone). Fortunately, in the meantime the shop was able to send me the number.
I can’t offer help with the issue, but it seems like a good defensive action for folks might be to email themselves a few screenshots of relevant screens from their phone’s Settings area. I am going to do this right now, in fact.
I always add my phones’ IMEIs to my password manager, of which I have backups on all devices.
I save other useful info, too, such as the PUK code for the SIM, in case it gets locked due to unsuccessful login attempts.
