I’ve got an old Pixel XL with /e/OS 1.3. Now there are two available updates shown in the settings:
/e/OS 1.4-beta, September 9th 2022. Size: 813 MB
/e/OS 1.4-beta, September 9th 2022. Size: 866 MB
Does anyone know which is the right one or the difference between the files?

Hi @tom_t welcome to the /e/ forum.
The first step is to see what ROMs are published for your device. I believe you are asking about ‘marlin’.
From Install /e/OS on a Google Pixel XL - “marlin” I see this ROM.
When I open the link the ROM is marked 825MB, date from code in the filename 2022-09-23 https://images.ecloud.global/dev/marlin/e-1.4-r-20220923220394-dev-marlin.zip
It suggests the earlier ROMs were pulled (withdrawn) and replaced, but they still show on your device.
I would cross check for yourself, then delete these entries in the system updater.
Perhaps wait a bit and / or reboot. Then refresh the updater.
