I’m having an issue with the “power off alarm” option. When I turn off my phone and have an alarm set, the phone turns back on at the scheduled time, but the alarm does not ring.
However, if the phone is in airplane mode, the alarm works normally.
Other Fairphone 5 users with the same setup don’t seem to have this issue.
Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Same problem with an FP4

Scenario:
1-FP4 is powered off.
2-FP4 wakes up 2 minutes before the alarm. Then screen shows the virtual keyboard to enter the sim PIN. Then screen goes black since I don’t touch it.
3-the screen blinks showing the alarm ringing, except no sound is emitted. If the alarm is set to vibrate, then it vibrate but without ringing.
Edit: if I enter the SIM PIN, and do not unlock the screen, the alarm rings normally. I thought there was a relationship between no ringing and the SIM being locked.
So I removed the SIM PIN and tried again: result is no ringing on wake-up, even with an unlocked SIM. Back to point 3.
