I have a problem with the mentioned app “Prime Video”.
The app itself works pretty well, watching videos is not a problem but buying a video doesn’t work. When trying to buy one I have to enter a 4-digit PIN code and after that nothing happens.
With stock Android after entering the PIN code the app shows a summary page of the video I want to buy.
Any ideas?!
Used phone: Pixel 8 with official build /e/OS 3.0.4.
How are you paying for the video you want to buy?
I want to pay via payment method which is saved in my Amazon profile.
But to do that I have to reach the summary page.
Here is the problem:
1.) Choose movie to rent/buy
2.) Enter PIN
3.)
Nothing happens on /e/OS device 
4.) Summary page opens on stock Android device
Item 4 looks like a laptop, is that a Chromebook and is that a web browser?
Item 4 is a tablet Xiaomi Pad 6 with attached keyboard cover.
The picture shows the summary page in the Prime Video app of Amazon after entering the 4-digit code.
What OS is the Xiaomi running?
Xiaomi runs HyperOS which is more vor less a new name for their Android system. It’s Android 14.
Here are my other test devices:
Pixel 8 - Android 15 → works
Pixel 8 - /e/OS A14 3.0.x → doesn’t work
Pixel 7a - Android 15 → works
Pixel 7a - Android 16 → works
Pixel 4a - /e/OS A15 3.0.4 → doesn’t work
PC with Win11 (not comparable I know) → works
Same here (/e/OS 3.0.4 / A14).
Could it be AP settings? Maybe the app works but for payments tracker and IP are checked and I think there are country-related issues.

After switching off Advanced Privacy for Prime Video, the summary page is shown!
Strangely the page now is also shown after activating AP for the app again…
