Privacy friendly sleep cycle tracker and fitness app

I wonder if there are any privacy friendly sleep cycle trackers and fitness apps (like myfitnesspal where you can count calories).

The ones I used on my old normal Google phone get bad grades for privacy.

Others may have much better recommendations, but you may want to take a look at Gadgetbridge. It is an open source app that lets you connect many off-the-shelf devices, including fitness bands and the like, in a privacy friendly manner to your Android device.

I’m not personally a user, but it’s good to know that Androids “Health Connect” is not a Google App in a proprietary sense, but part of AOSP and thus of /e/OS too - and a general health data store.

So whatever sensor you have that is compatible to HC, you can access with offline, privacy friendly apps. See a HC search on F-Droid.
