I have now the last version of eOS and I made maybe three system upgrades, I don’t remember which upgrade began to cause sensitivity problems, just that the first system version with bold lines on unlocking screen had already this problem.

It’s like the button to augment screen sensitivity in screen settings has no effect whether it’s on or off
