Hey all, just started using my fp6 and i had some questions regarding find my phone and the power menu.

does Find my phone feature work while my geolocation is being masked by advanced security?
secondly i noticed i was able to power off my phone while it was locked is there a way i can prevent this?

Yes and afaik no……….

Thanks for letting me know, I’ll prop make a post asking for the feature then, it seems like a pretty big flaw to protect against theft / recovery

Some questions still arise and tests / knowledge about would be helpful…

  • if WLAN /GPS was off, is it turned on thru FMD to send (new) geolocation
  • is FRP working on eOS phones
  • how are multiple lockscreen unlocking attempts are handled
