My Fairphone 4 started rebooting constantly. I removed the battery and next day inserted a spare one. It stopped but I do not fully trust it.
What to do to prevent this?

First check Settings > Storage. It is probably a good idea to set a personal limit ~85% for the Internal storage and it is advised that any SD card is mounted as External only. ✏ A little guide to... using SD cards - Guides - Fairphone Community Forum.
Otherwise was there any one app or activity used for an extended time since the last real power down? A power down after a run of videos for instance can be a good idea.
Thank you!
storage only 59 %. no external card. No any app/activity used extensively that I know, I have blisslauncher, anything to do with that? battery was not having a good contact?
Seems unlikely.
From time to time you might use the Quick settings pull down, twice. Look for running apps, tap to list them, check if anything unexpected is running in the background.
I “Close all running apps” from time to time.
It might be worth checking if anything else made you think that the battery connection was poor. If the back ever became unsealed it could be worth cleaning the connections carefully if there is any evidence of contamination inside.
I m not sure how to disable the apps running in the background from time to time. Even not sure how to see them, when i swipe down i see WiFi, Bluetooth or such…
I might ask a friend.
I tchecked the battery use manually for each app and saw that WhatsApp used 38% and insta8%. Most other almost or nothing.
Can that be a cause?
So you do that Swipe down, then a second Swipe down to see Active apps at the foot of the page. This especially can draw attemtion to Apps running in the background. Often you know this is natural, you are just looking for an app you might have installed behaving in a way you would not wish.
My comment was only to collect information. Ofc if you have undesirable activity from an app, just uninstall it.
Thank you much, got it! only advanced privacy is running.
So good to have a community giving some tips. Sorry to be slow in this.
Nothing abnormal sofar.
Still feeling unsure with the phone.
