Hi everyone,
I did something stupid a while ago, and now need to get out of it again: I got a phone with /e/OS, and thought “I will try playing with it for a while, then set it up properly”. Then my old phone died unexpectedly, and this “resetting” never happened.
Now since a long time, I am using a phone with a “test-account” of Murena.io cloud. Unfortunately, when I set it up, I used some one-time-use email-address and some password, both of which I do not know anymore. But I still know the username, I have the phone, and it is synchronizing with the cloud according to the settings (last sync date = today).
As far as I could find out, murena.io uses “app-credentials”, so it is not possible to extract the plaintext password from the phone, or use those app-credentials to log in and set a new plaintext password. Is that correct? Is there any other way how I can regain complete access to this account, so either get the email associated with the account, or the plaintext password?
Thank you very much for any hints how to solve that.
