Yep, for official builds with closed bootloader.
Yeah, I was surprised that it was even working in the first place because I did think the fix was only for 3.1
Also, downgrading does not work because Revolut immediately demands upgrade upon login. Tried that with version 10.88.2 (which is the one that works on this OS) and can’t pass the login screen
I confirm that now the older version doesn’t work anymore… I’m seriously thinking to close my revolut account… ![]()
I do have the very same issue on /e/OS 3.0.4 trying to use Revolut 10.89. That’s super annoying!
I sent them an email directly to request official support for /e/OS. Not sure if this will help at all, but if you sent similar requests to them then maybe one day they reconsider breaking things for us.
If you want to add to the discussion at Revolut, my support case number at their desk is 65166-19551-82953. That said, feel free to add to the discussion there sending them an e-mail:

Forget contacting Revoult support, this ‘issue’ is older than you think. People wasted their time months ago. Change bank or have a device with official and locked bootloader which will get v3.1 if you can’t live without Revolut
For me it was similar.
After the Install of 3.0.4-a14-20250708507308-official-FP4, Revolut worked (again) without limitation. I was even able to switch to the new German IBAN, which involves a re-verification process.
Then came the update to 10.89, aaand it’s broken again.
Also the next update 10.90 does not work.
I opened a Support case at Revolut.
Initially they were friendly, and asked for details.
I used that as opportunity to verify that
-
my bootloader is locked
-
that my signature-status is reported as “green” by
adb shell getprop ro.boot.verifiedbootstate -
and I even checked that the reported signature ID matches the one found in the latest update package.
After providing those information (and of course, that it runs e/OS/), now the Support comes with proposals, like I should try to install the Revolut App on another device, or I should perform a Factory Reset on my Device and see if the problem persists.
I declined that, pointing out that it is highly unlikely to yield other results, but will cause major damage on my side.
Well — if Revolut would officially state that they decline to support e/OS/ or if they would officially state that they require some framework like Google SafetyNet to work on that device, the situation would be clearer (but not really OK of course).
The point is, to my understanding, if I run an OS like e/OS/, which follows standard procedures for security updates, and which is installed with verified signature, the supplier would have to give a valid and adequate reason why an App refused to run on such a system. “Because we feel like it” is not an satisfactory reason, even more so for a Banking App.
Revolut might be somewhat “special” – however we should be careful that such does not becomes a generally accepted practice.
Up to now, most other banking and trading related Apps I have tried work flawlessly with e/OS/
I am wondering, Murena one and two are by Murena, then ‘official Firmware’ is /e/OS. It must also apply for the Revoult case of not being customROM ![]()

I have finally decided to close my Revolut account.
I moved to N26 it works very fine in my Murena One
If Revolut doesn’t like my phone, there are many other banks.
Why you folks don’t bundle forces and quit your accounts all together on a specific date, all stating the same clarification why you do it. Power to the people!
On my FP3+ with e/OS 3.0.4-t-20250709507786-official-FP3, the Revolut App with version 10.88.2 (code: 1008806832) is still working, but I am very afraid that sooner or later it is going to ask to be updated and thus it will stop working.
Given that I use it mainly to exchange currencies when I travel abroad, I am thinking about closing my Revolut account and open a Wise account. Does someone have some experiences to share about the Wise App and e/OS? Apparently it should be working without any issue.
Hi @mihi ,
when you mention v3.1, you mean version 3.1 of what? Of e/OS?
From the upcoming e/OS 3.1 version something is expected to change in the context of this issue?
Hi,
Not 3.1 but 3.1.1 and you have here the information : Week 35, 2025: Development and Testing Updates - #2 by N200
Hello Benry,
Before closing my Revolut account, I moved all my money to my new N26 account and my new Wise account, and both, so far, are working very well on my Murena One version e/OS/ 3.0.4
Great! Thanks @18yt8zhg ,
I’ll try it as soon as it will be available.
Just installed 3.1.1-a14-20250828521479-official-FP4 (locked bootloader build), and the latest version of Revolut 10.89 is finally working again! Big ups to the devs for managing to crack this ![]()
I’ve installed today 3.1.1 community build (a15) for fp3 and sadly Revolut still doesn’t work. As far as i can tell, the bootloader is locked.
To be sure, you should boot into Fast Boot Mode to check this. Power off your FP3. Then hold the POWER and the VOLUME DOWN button to get into Fast Boot Mode. You should land on a black screen with white and some red writing. The bootloader status is at the bottom end of the text. It should read “DEVICE STATE – locked”.
Impossible I would say ![]()
These days community and locked bootloader doesn’t work. I could only imagine if you had a locked bootloader years ago and were able to sideload somehow community builds.
Anyhow Rovolut works only on official and locked bootloader
Device state is locked, since at least the last few updates. Updates and dirty upgrades worked well so far. So i’m not sure what causes revolut to fail. Revolut is on version 10.93
Ps. I know of at least one other person, who updated with a locked bootloader
