S20+ SM-G985F/DS y2s - stuck at ADB sideload stuck at 3%

Hi.

I go nuts. After several phones installed with e/OS/ this time I become nuts. I use a Samsung Galaxy S20+ SM-G985F/DS y2s. I followed this install guide: “Install /e/OS on a Samsung Galaxy s20+/s20+ 5G - “y2s”” and “S20+ SM-G985F/DS y2s - stuck at odin4 vbmeta.tar - #13 by piero”. Everything was working fine until I did the adb sideload command. The command started great but the sideload stuck for more than 30 minutes yet at 3%. Please see the attched screenshots from my Win11 PC as well as from my phone. And now I am off of ANY ideas how to proceed.

PLEASE help. I work since 2 days to get e/OS/ on this phone to work. No idea why I can’t get this to work this time. Thank you!

1. did you flash the vbmeta.img using Odin ?
   

   

2. using recovery-e, can you try with adding .\ at the beginning of your command

.\adb sideload e-3.3-a14-20251214557450-community-y2s.zip

3. using recovery-e, can you try the SDcard install method instead of adb sideload method ?

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you……… All my love to you. The SDcard option did the trick, e/OS/ is starting. As we say in Germany: “Manchmal sieht man den Wald vor lauter Bäumen nicht [mehr]. You SAVED my day Pietro!!! Thank you!
