Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) SM-A320FL

No news and no unofficial build.

I am interested as well

Also very interested… Please provide /e/ for this affordable phone, very largely distributed. Would be a great contribution for low incomes willing to be part of a non-google worldwide community.
Thanks

I have a Galaxy A3 2017 sleeping in a drawer. I hope it will find a new /e/ life soon!

+1

I’ve two SM-A320FL phones I would like to set on /e/OS.
There’s a lot of alternatives ROMs for the A5 2017 but very few for A3 2017 (and all are “unofficials” like LineageOS port).

I’ll be very pleased, like many people, if /e/ supports my A3 2017.
They work well yet and I don’t want to change them beacause of shitty Samsung ROM stock…

I support this. This phone could use a new life with the support of /e/ firmware.

I support this too ! :slightly_smiling_face:

Chipset. Exynos 7870 Octa (14 nm)
CPU. Octa-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53
GPU. Mali-T830 MP1

Hello everyone,
I also have a A3 2017 (SM-A320FL) and it would be wonderful to have the possibility to move to /e/ OS.
Hope my dream will come true
Kind regards

This is an untested build, so make sure you backup your system.
Please share your experience for potential other e-users.
I’m going to remove this build because ril is not working. I’m going to build a new one.

+1 , fwiw.
Would be cool to move my last unfree device to /e/

Seek and you shall find - at least a transitional version…

+1 for this very small and handy device!!!

Hello.

I use mine with e-0.18-GSI (Q) thanks to treble project.

No LOS support for our Exynos, so…

Hello,

I also own a A3 2017 (SM-A320FL) and I would love to switch to /e/.
Do other people tried @beposanfior answer ? As it’s my main device, I’d like to hear some more feedback before trying it.

Hi, in this topic there are more details and impressions. I tried to keep it updated while using the phone.

All in all you can use it (as I do) as your daily phone.
