Hello,

I want to install e.os on a samsung for a friend and I am having troubles managing to do so.

I unlocked the bootloader, then installed e.os recovery 3.4

reboot into recovery

Format data

reboot into recovery

adb sideload e.os-3.4

System boots but I am unable to complete the initial setup as the system reboots half way…Leaving the system on its own results in the same, the system reboots after about 15 seconds.

I also tried 3.3 and ended in the same…any idea?

Is there a way to bypass the initial setup? Managed to bypass, but there is no wifi and after a minute or so, the system crashes and reboots, seems there is an issue with the firmware or the wifi doesn’t get enabled and the system crashes..

try to apply factory reset on both /system and /data partitions before install and also /data partition after the install

It was actually easier than that, the unit was in a LTE box and she said it was LTE so I tried to flash the wrong ROM. Once Irealised that and flashed the correct one it did work OK
