Hi All,
This is the 1st time I have ever tried to do anything with a mobile and after reading various posts decided to follow instructions from here
I downloaded Odin 3.13
TWRP twrp-3.7.0_11-0-z3s.img.tar
and this ROM from Ronzz98 e-2.4-u-20240928-UNOFFICIAL-z3s.zip
Enabled OEM Unlock & USB Debugging, booted phone in to Download by pressing Vol UP & DOWN whilst plugging in to USB on Laptop
Went tto Install TWRP but got a vmdata error after a quick search downloaded vbmeta_disabled.tar and added that to the USERDATA Field.
TRWP Loaded next according to the instruction I needed to delete the following
Dalvik / ART Cache. Data, Internal Storage, cache & system.
Butt on my screen SYSTEM was missing just not there at all.
I carried on after deleting the others as the instruction stated and copied the ZIP file mentioned above.
It then ran through stating that itt was patching the system unconditionally butt at the end there were 2 lines in red which said
failed to mount /vendor no such device
failed to mount /odm no such device
On trying to boot the device it just went in a continuous loop stating that it wasn’t an official Samsung OS…
I then went through the above loop again and ended up with the same result.
As I said before this is the 1st time I have tried anything like this so I am stuck.
Any ideas what I have done wrong and how to get e/os loaded on this handset?
