is there an option to select the wifi Band 2.4 vs 5 GHz for a hotspot that provides both with the same SSID?
I’m currently on a campsite that offers WiFi on both bands, 2.4 and 5 GHz. Unfortunately it is rather unreliable and I have the suspicion that the 5GHz Network is broken while 2.4 seem to work.
However I haven’t found out to connect only on the 2.4 GHz band, instead the phone switches between both bands and looses connection to the internet.
If I could enforce one of both bands, there’s a chance of a more reliable connection.
