I have a samsung galaxy s9-star2lte refurbished by /e/ and I have a problem sending MMS with the Message app already installed :
I am able to send only photo MMS messages but I can’t send very short videos (less than 300 kb)
I tried QKSMS but the problem persists!
Only HandcentSMS allows me to send video MMS.
Is an update of the Message app planned?

Sorry, can’t help you with your issue, but may I ask you, why you have installed K9 mail and not using email app from e.foundation ? Email app is also K9, you know ??
Yes, I know, but I had already installed (and used) K9 before I realized that email app from e.foundation (K9) was already present !
OK, But you can Import all your K9 setings into email app … hint for next fresh install 
I also downloaded K-9 and put Mail in my “Useless” folder… I don’t know why actually.
So thanks for having remind me this good native app, I’ve migrated to Mail
