Set default calendar / choose which calendar app to open appointments with

Dear community,

I am unsuccessfully trying to set Proton Calendar as my default calendar app. I can’t even choose which calendar to open appointments with (it just defaults to Murena’s calendar) which already lead to me missing out on some.

Is there a way to set the default calendar app?

I’d appreciate any help.
