Setting Up A New E/OS Tablet

I have just received my new tablet. everything is fine and I am very happy with it. I just have a couple of questions.

1. I want to set up the tablet to use Signal as a linked device to my phone and can’t see how to do it.

2. The ChatGPT app throws up an authentication error when I try to log in. This may well be a known problem and if I can’t use ChatGPT on the tablet, it doesn’t really matter.

Google Pixel Tablet and Signal app

Molly is the only “signal” that I know of that allows being linked to an existing install on an android as a “linked device” (works well!)… Not sure though if it works in conjunction with a “normal” signal install…or if the main device must have Molly installed as well. Edit: should work according to compatibility statement:

Photo editing - I would also like to install a photo editing app for just basic tasks. I would like it to be privacy friendly and many of those in the app store are not. I saw one called Snapseed which didn’t seem too intrusive according to the Exodus report but, as it is a Google App, I wasn’t sure? I would welcome any suggestions?

Thanks. I had a look at the open source apps photo editing apps but, there were not any with much in the way of editing functionality, even basic editing.

If your tablet has a SIM with a phone number it is the primary Signal account. You can only link it to a PC, Linux or Windows.

I have a eOS tablet here that is WiFi only and I cannot link Signal to it because I think Android only allows one SIM per device. So I am pretty sure you will never be able to link Signal to two android devices?
Hope I am wrong. Maybe check Sognal forum for more answers.

But it works perfectly since more than a year for me and it even supports UnifiedPush and has other dependencies removed.
