I use a Fairphone 6 but did the installation of /e/OS myself. I use a google account in the app lounge as recommended.
When I try to set up the banking app, I follow the instructions for the set up until I have to scan a QR code. Every step before this one works perfectly fine. I have to allow the app to use the device camera, which I do, and then it should direct me to the camera so I can scan the QR code. Instead it sends me to the login page. Having set the password in the previous steps, I log in, but it tells me that the set up is not complete and sends me back to two steps before it routed me to the wrong location. Again, I click “new registration”, then “registration data is available” (i cannot use the direct transfer from the previous device) and instead of opening the camera, the app sends me to the log in page again. Logged in, there is also no option to scan a QR code.
Has anyone encountered this problem before? Trying to google has not yielded any results and I also havent found whether this problem occurs on Android as well. I could go to the bank, but I fear they wont be able to help me and will just tell me to wait for an update.
