Sha256sum on "System Updates" e/OS retrieved/exported files

Hi all,

I’ve recently updated both my FP5 & FP6 to e/OS v3.2 – all fine here.
During the process I’ve seen that I could “export” the retreived “update” bundle, which I’ve done.

Is there a way to sha256sum these files? here are the exported files I’ve gathered:
e-3.2-a15-20251022539003-official-FP5.zip / 1.6G
e-3.2-a15-20251022539003-official-FP6.zip / 1.9G

These exports seems to diverge in size from the regular builds available respectively here:

Let me know,

Do you notice that they also diverge in name, you link for instance filenames with an added IMG- prefix – these are install ROMs.

You will have gathered files from the OTA server urls for instance for fp5 is

https://ota.ecloud.global/api/v1/FP5/official/

This server delivers md5sum but not sha256sum.

Obviously, I figured that the URL’s shared are indeed install / new flash ROM’s package. Thanks for the md5sum link, useful and better than nothing.

Would you know if these archives are “verified” using the provided md5sum before being setup while updating? I would guess so..

Thanks
