Signal version problem

I’m trying to transfer my Signal account and my conversations to my new /e/OS -phone. Apps repository seems to have an older version of Signal. I get error message, saying transfer to older version not possible. My old android phone has Signal version 5.25.8, but Apps has 5.24.x.x.

Would anyone have suggestions how to do the transfer?

You should be able to install the Aurora Store and use it to download a newer version of signal.
