I’ve been thinking of trying these apps from Simple Mobile Tools. There appears to be a ‘Pro’ version of both (available in Aurora Store). The web pages for the Pro versions [1] & [2] both have the following text
The Pro one already has many new features including time zone support, attendees and email type of reminders in CalDAV synced events, then many other bugfixes and stability improvements. Since the free version won’t be updated anymore, the difference will always grow.
Looking in F-Droid [3], he latest version is shown as
Version 6.12.5 (73) Added on 2020-07-16
which looks like the free versions are being updated. Can anyone tell me what the real story is? Will these apps remain free (and open)? And will they continue to get regular updates?
